Multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE that the Batman actress and Magic Mike hunk have ended their engagement. The pair first sparked romance rumours while working on Zoe’s directorial debut Blink Twice, where Channing was the star. They got engaged a year ago.
OK! has contacted their representatives for comment. Channing, 44, was last seen with Zoe, 35, at a play in New York City's Red Hook area on October 6, featuring their Blink Twice co-star Levon Hawke.
However, Zoe has been seen recently without her engagement ring, including during an outing with Big Little Lies co-star Shailene Woodley. "Art is our love language," Zoe told PEOPLE at the Blink Twice premiere back in August, hinting at future collaborations with Channing. "I think it's what we love, and we love talking about it, and experiencing it, and supporting each other." Channing also shared his thoughts on creative partnerships with loved ones, saying, "This is what I'll say about creating with someone that you are with or love: I suggest it.
If you are thinking about having a kid or if you're thinking about getting married, go find the hardest possible creative project with your partner." He gushed at the time, "When you can look across the room or the set and know that you have the best person that is next to you trying to solve problems, and you're really looking to them for answers just as equally as trying to solve them yourself, that is unbelievable." Zoe also gave a rare insight into the relationship in an interview with GQ.
