Chanelle Hayes has spoken candidly about her reasons for having a hair transplant. The former Big Brother star has been receiving treatment at Manchester’s Farjo Hair Institute after thinning out on her forehead.

The 32-year-old, who appeared on the Channel 4 reality show in 2007, endured 12 hours undergoing the procedure, saying it is the “best decision” she has ever made.

In 2016 she first revealed that years of yo-yo dieting had left her hair looking 'thin' - and now she has decided to do something about it.

The Quay Street salon tweeted out a photo of the TV personality sitting in a chair having her new hairline marked out, before the treatment began.
