One of the reasons for that was the form of Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who made a stunning stop in the first half from Neymar and also denied Kylian Mbappe in the second period.
Robert Lewandowski had hit the post in the first period for Bayern, but ultimately the Bavarians only needed Coman's goal to win it.
