The animated musical comedy series Central Park has been canceled after three seasons at Apple TV+. Josh Gad, co-creator and the voice of Birdie, confirmed the show would not be moving forward after a fan asked if the series would be returning. “Sadly, it’s done,” Gad shared on Threads.

Central Park centers around the Tillerman-Hunter family through the eyes of busker narrator Birdie. The lives of the characters change when an elderly heiress named Bitsy Brandenham plots to buy up all the land in Central Park and develop it with condos, stores and restaurants.

The Tillermans must also deal with their issues and save the park. The show was co-created by Gad, Loren Bouchard and Nora Smith and premiered in May 2020 on Apple’s streaming service.

Running for three seasons with a total of 39 episodes, the show’s voice cast included Kristen Bell, Tituss Burgess, Daveed Diggs, Josh Gad, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Stanley Tucci and Emmy Raver-Lampman.
