Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.
The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.
Central Cee debuts at Number 1 on the Official Trending Chart with his brand new track, Doja. Coming in at a very lean 1 minute 37 seconds, Doja contains a shoutout to American rapper and singer Doja Cat, as well as sampling the beat from Eve & Gwen Stefani's iconic track Let Me Blow Ya Mind.
Doja is Central Cee's first new song since his mixtape 23 debuted atop the Official Albums Chart - giving the drill icon his first-ever UK Number 1 album.
In this week's Official Chart: First Look, we revealed that Doja is currently on track to debut inside the Top 5 of the Official Singles Chart.
At present, Central Cee's highest-peaking UK single is Obsessed With You, which peaked at Number 4. Listen to the Official Trending Chart on Spotify below, Deezer, or Apple Music.
