Matt Penney expects Celtic to come at Motherwell with all guns blazing this afternoon, but says they will treat it like any other game – and wants three points. The English defender, on loan from Ipswich Town, knows it’s going to be difficult to tame Ange Postecoglou’s side on their own patch, but says they want to impose their own style on the game, and hopefully take three points back to Lanarkshire. And while Penney says St Mirren beating the Scottish champions a fortnight ago will probably anger them, he says that result shows Celtic aren’t invincible. He said: “I think every game is a big game, at the end of the day three points are three points, whether it’s against the team at the bottom or the top of the table.“They’re deservedly at the top of the league, so it’s classed as a big game but we’re going to get a result and there’s no reason we can’t do that.“They had a disappointing result before the international break so they’ll come at us all guns blazing to get a result and do the business.“St Mirren beating them just proves that anybody in this league can get a result against anybody.“Football is a crazy sport, you see it all over the world, and before the international break when St Mirren got the result.“It just goes to show you that nobody’s unbeatable, and it gives us confidence.“They’ll be fired up to come out and get the result, but we’re just going to impose ourselves, play our game and hopefully go there to get a result.“It’s up to us to play our football, the way the manager wants us to play, and go over there, do our best and try to get a result.”Celtic may have lost last time out, but so did Motherwell, as they crashed to a 3-0 defeat at home to Hearts, despite creating 26 chances in the game.Penney
