Celtic have confirmed that their home clash with Dundee is OFF. The Premiership champions primed fans for a postponement on Friday as Storm Eowyn battered the country causing widespread disruption.

That included damage to Celtic Park as the Hoops warned that an assessment of the damage to the stadium would need to be made before a decision was taken over whether the game against Tony Docherty's side could go ahead or not.

With conditions easing on Saturday, club officials were able to take a closer look and have been forced to call off the game in the interests of safety.

While punters will be disappointed, it does give Brendan Rodgers' men a rest weekend ahead of their midweek Champions League encounter away to Aston Villa.
