Celtic have been talked up to land a top eight spot in the Champions League - and the guaranteed extra £10MILLION in revenue that comes alongside it.

The Hoops have impressed un Europe so far this season and while a draw with Club Brugge took the shine off things slightly, they look well-placed to progress to the knockout phase.

Eight points from five games, including famous victory over RB Leipzig, mean they sit 20th and one more victory will all-but secure their passage to the playoff as one of the teams ranked ninth to 24th.

However a strong start means the lucrative top eight isn't out of their reach. They may be 12 places away from Monaco, who currently sit in eighth place, but they're just two points behind and a pair of wins over Dinamo Zagreb and Young Boys could shoot them up the table.
