Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic 'set to offer Airdrie's Thomas Robert training stint'

The Scottish Sun report that the 20-year-old is 'edging closer to an agreement' with Neil Lennon's side and talks have taken place about Airdrie's prize asset going to Lennoxtown for a training stint.

The report claims the North Lanarkshire side are hoping to land a transfer fee for the winger, who is under contract at the Diamonds until summer 2022.Earlier this season Robert was scouted by the Hoops and Rangers were reportedly interested in the player as well, but the lower league football suspension in January dashed any hopes the player had of making a switch during the last transfer window.Robert has scored four goals in 14 appearances this season since joining last summer and could be about to earn a big move at the end of the season.
