Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has praised the support shown to those in need by the club’s charity foundation as their ‘Football for Good’ fund hit £175k.
The fund was announced last Friday with an initial £150k to be given to charity in a bid to help the most vulnerable as well as frontline NHS staff during the coronavirus crisis The fund will see Celtic work with a number of local charities to provide food and other essentials to the local community.
