Celebrities came out in support for Jedward on social media after Louis Walsh branded the pair "vile" on Celebrity Big Brother.

Louis, 71, has continued to talk about famous singers on the ITV show and hasn't held back when sharing his opinions.The former X Factor judge - who mentored Jedward during their time on the show in 2009 - labelled Jedward “vile” and a “novelty” act while chatting to fellow housemate Colson Smith.

He also claimed he made £5 million from the duo. Jedward - made up of identical twins John and Edward Grimes - wasted no time in hitting back at Louis on social media.The pair's best friend Gemma Collins, 42, then quickly jumped to their defence - prompting many other famous faces to follow suit.

Taking to Instagram, Gemma shared a photograph of herself with John and Edward.The TOWIE favourite penned: "Shocked to see what was said about my boys @jepicpics They are the sweetest talented polite educated kind boys I’ve ever met hence why they are always in my company !!!
