Detectives have released an image of man they would like to speak to after a woman was raped in an Oldham alleyway after a night out.
At around 1.30am last October 31, officers were called out to a report of a rape at the side of Royton Cricket Club. Greater Manchester Police says the woman had walked into the alleyway and was raped by a male who made off from the scene afterwards.
Detectives immediately launched an investigation and have been following up a number of lines of enquiry since. Now, GMP says it is in a position to appeal to members of the public for further information about the attack.
The force has today (May 19) released a CCTV image, with anyone who recognises the man in the photo urged to get in touch.
