CBS News has made a series of new assignments for correspondents in its Washington, D.C. bureau, as is typical at the start of a new presidential administration.
Fin Gómez has been named executive director, White House and politics, adding to his duties as CBS News political director. He will oversee the White House team as well as the political unit, and will report to Mark Lima, Washington bureau chief.
At the White House unit, Olivia Rinaldi will join as producer/reporter and Aaron Navarro will join as digital reporter. They will join the White House team that includes chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes, political correspondent Ed O’Keefe, senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang, senior White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs and White House reporter Willie Inman.
On Capitol Hill, Caitlin Huey-Burns will be congressional correspondent and Taurean Small joins as reporter. They join congressional correspondent Nikole Killion.
