CBBs Louis and Sharon blast ‘name-dropper’ James Corden in candid chat

In a teaser for the show on March 7, the pair sat down with Kate Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, who joked that Strictly pro Nikita Kuzmin drops many-a celebrity name, but he acknowledges: "He’s not showing off it’s just his life!” Sharon then says of James Corden, who hosted The Late Late Show in the US from 2015 to 2023 says: “I tell you who does that, the English guy, James Corden, he does that all the time.” Louis adds: “He’s even made a career out of it.” Sharon says of James' move to the States: “When he got to America, he played the LA game really well, you know, turned up at everything.” Louis agrees: “Kissing all the right people, Anna Wintour, mwah, mwah, mwah, mwah” Sharon then says: “Oh, she loves him.
But who loves Anna Wintour?” Louis jests: “Anna Wintour. I don’t get it, or those stupid glasses” James is well-known for playing Smithy on the hit BBC sitcom, Gavin and Stacey, but he really made his name in the States when he became the host of The Late Late Show.
After starting in 2015, he bid farewell to the programme in 2023, after filming 1,200 episodes. He had many-a celebrity guest on the show, and his Carpool Karaoke slot featured stars such as Adele, Harry Styles and Justin Bieber.
