Cathy devastated in Emmerdale after she violently explodes at stunned Bob
msn.commood swings and heavy periods on Emmerdale, a visit to Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) saw her being prescribed the contraceptive pill to help with her hormones.
Cathy must have been hoping that would be an end to her problems and she could carry on with life as normal, but it seems that that’s not the case as her violent temper once again gets the better of her in upcoming episodes.
The occasion is the reopening of the B&B, now under the ownership of Bernice (Samantha Giles) and Bob (Tony Audenshaw). And Bob is worried about whether Cathy will have one of her mood swings and ruin the event, as Tony Audenshaw told us. ‘Obviously he’s stressed about this opening and he doesn’t want her to kick off at the opening, because you wouldn’t, would you?’ he said.
So Bob suggests that Cathy should be elsewhere during the event – much to his daughter’s frustration and upset. The next day, Marlon (Mark Charnock) has created a beautiful cake specially for the event and Tony explained why it’s so significant and what happens next. ‘Marlon has spent ages on this cake,’ he said. ‘It’s the first one he’s made since his stroke.
