At a red-carpet event to mark the release of Disney’s National Treasure: Edge of History, opted for a blend of deep berry and purple eyeshadow tones around her eyes, to sultry effect.
Paired with a fan of spidery eyelashes, loaded up with mascara, it was the perfect way to frame her dark brown eyes. Her mane of deep brunette hair was styled with gentle waves through the mid-lengths and ends, and Zeta-Jones also sported a glossy burnished-red lip, which felt like another nod to Morticia–although it was a shade infinitely more forgiving than jet black.
Dark eyes paired with dark lips is a look that’s notoriously difficult to pull off, but the juxtaposition of different textures—matte shadows (with a touch of metallic) and glosses, for example–are more forgiving, especially for those with mature skins.
