Catherine Tyldesley has delighted fans by confirming her return to the small screen. The actress, who is best known for playing Eva Price in Coronation Street, confirmed the news on Instagram after a catch-up with her former ITV soap co-star.
Back in 2017, Cath confirmed she was leaving the cobbles after seven years and went on to star in Sky's Trollied and BBC's Scarborough before appearing in ITV drama Viewpoint last year.
Now the 38-year-old has confirmed her next project, weeks after welcoming her second child into the world. She revealed the news on Instagram with a photo of herself showing her dark locks sweeping her shoulders as she wore a knitted pink tanktop over a white shirt. She said: "I had a glorious time filming this (despite the morning sickness) … standby/set your planners!" She then added: "It’s back and it’s bloody brilliant #McDonald&Dodds @itv 8pm THIS SUNDAY!" before her former Corrie co-stars rushed to share their support.
