Cate Blanchett upcycles one of her most repeated red carpet dresses for the SAG Awards

Whilst many actors pull out a new outfit for every ceremony, Cate has shunned tradition and instead insisted on rewearing outfits from previous red carpets.
One of her most recycled is a sleek all black Armani Privé lace gown, which she first wore to the 2014 Golden Globes ceremony, before rewearing it for the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.The original dress was completely sheer with carefully placed lane panels, and featured a high neck, puff sleeves, and a dramatic cut out back that was revealed when she turned around.
Never one to shy away from rewearing her outfits, this time Cate has opted to upcycle the original Armani gown and give it a modern update.
