So we’re baffled by Cate Blanchett’s nonchalant approach to having an actual chainsaw accident in her home. The Oscar winner was speaking to former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard on her podcast, A Podcast of One’s Own, when she casually revealed she’d apparently made an impromptu reboot of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
The 51-year-old had been using the power tool in her mansion in East Sussex when the accident occurred. The Carol star said: ‘I’m fine.
I had a bit of a chainsaw accident yesterday, which sounds very, very exciting, but it wasn’t. Apart from the little nick to the head, I’m fine.’ Gillard
