A helpless cat has suffered from horrific burns after reportedly being doused in bleach in a sickening attack in Glasgow. A heartbreaking picture of Rambo in the aftermath shows his fur completely soaked in a clear liquid after he was burned with the cleaning fluid last month, Glasgow Live reports. The beloved pet has already been through countless treatments and began a new course of treatment at the Glasgow Vet School today, but his owner, Linda McDonald, is facing massive vet bills to help him.Her friend Fiona Trodden has set up a fundraising page to help cover the costs of fees after witnessing the "stress" that Linda is going through.
So far £5,665 has been raised, with donations pouring in from well wishers.Fiona said: "I've started this fundraiser as lots of people had enquired if possible to donate to help pay the vet bills after my friends cat was burned with bleach.
I think we all agree this is a horrific thing to do to an animal. Rambo has had extensive burns over his body and internally."He's already had overnight stays at the vets, but these are expensive.
I can't stand by and watch my friend stress over vet bills when she's already dealing with a poorly cat and the trauma of having this done to her fur baby.
