A cat who had been missing for two years was found just streets away from her home in Droylsden. Alfie had not been seen by her owner Judith Moss for two years after she went missing from her home on John Street.

Judith said that her cat was a 'wanderer' but that she'd started to think she wasn't going to come back. Two years later, the 13-year-old moggie was found on Herbert Street after the RSPCA were called.

Alfie had been turning up at the John Street Social club for a couple of months and concerns had been raised that she wasn’t bearing weight on one of her front legs.
