Casting agency looking for 'articulate and likeable' Scots to appear in new film

A casting agency is looking for Scots to appear in a new feature movie which will be filmed in Glasgow. Des Hamilton Castings is looking for Glaswegians who are 'articulate and likeable'.The film is described as a love letter to the city and TV bosses are looking for people without acting experience for the two lead roles.

They're on the hunt for a male aged between 24 and 26, and a female between the ages of 17 and 19.Des Hamilton Castings is a BAFTA-winning casting company for film and TV and their credits include the Oscar-winning feature Jojo Rabbit and the Netflix series Top Boy.They have a history of casting people with no previous acting experience, such as Thomas Turgoose, who was street cast for This Is England at a youth club in Grimsby, and went on to win a BIFA for Most Promising Newcomer.It's not known what the film will be called, where in Glasgow it'll be shot or when cameras will start rolling.If you think you fit the description above, apply here.Get the latest celebrity gossip and telly news sent straight to your inbox.
