Albion Rovers have praised Coatbridge and the fan base for offering the club a huge cash boost during the league shut down. With the club battling to stay alive in the absence of any League Two football, a fundraiser from Rovers diehard Jordan Campbell, has smashed the original £5000 target as the town rallies behind the strugglers.The JustGiving page is now closing on on the £10K mark and secretary Colin Woodward confirmed the club Supporters Trust had offered a further £3000 donation.Woodward says the funds could be huge for the long-term survival of the Cliftonhill side. "It is great to see the fans and community really get behind the club," he told Lanarkshire Live Sport."The club for the moment are still paying all of the players wages
