Albion Rovers have praised Coatbridge and the fan base for offering the club a huge cash boost during the league shut down. With the club battling to stay alive in the absence of any League Two football, a fundraiser from Rovers diehard Jordan Campbell, has smashed the original £5000 target as the town rallies behind the strugglers.The JustGiving page is now closing on on the £10K mark and secretary Colin Woodward confirmed the club Supporters Trust had offered a further £3000 donation.Woodward says the funds could be huge for the long-term survival of the Cliftonhill side.
