Cash machine gang targets Bury Co-op store in early morning raid

Bury, in the early hours of this morning (Monday February 15). The shop was closed at the time but the men are said to have forced their way inside.

Money was then taken from a cash machine. Images from the scene show significant damage to shutters outside the Co-op store.No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: "At around 5.20am this morning police were called to reports of a burglary at a store on Mile Lane, Bury. "Enquiries have established that three men forced entry to the store, which was closed at the time, before making off with an amount of cash which they had taken from an ATM machine located inside the store."No arrests have been made and an investigation is.
