Michael Kirk Douglas (born September 25, 1944) is an American actor and producer. He has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, five Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and the AFI Life Achievement Award.
The elder son of Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill, Douglas received his Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His early acting roles included film, stage, and television productions. Douglas first achieved prominence for his performance in the ABC police procedural television series The Streets of San Francisco, for which he received three consecutive Emmy Award nominations.
Carys Zeta Douglas is taking Cannes by storm! Carys, 20, joined parents Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 16) held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
For event, Carys stunned in white lace dress while Catherine, 53, wore a flowing red gown and Michael, 78, looked sharp in a black tux.
During the ceremony, Michael received the honorary Palme d’Or. The family also attended a screening of Johnny Depp‘s new movie Jeanne du Barry. Carys is Michael and Catherine‘s youngest child.
The two are also parents to son Dylan, 22, while Michael and ex Diandra Luker share son Cameron, 44. Michael and Catherine have some unexpected rules to their golf games!
