Caroline Flack was in a state of panic when she made an urgent call to her lawyer, Nick Green, just weeks before her tragic suicide.The star was desperate for a way out of the trial she faced for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend.

Nick has recalled his final conversation with the distressed 40 year old and shared his belief that she could have been saved.

Caroline, known for hosting Love Island, took her own life on February 15, 2020, shocking the entertainment world. She had contacted Nick three weeks prior, sounding "terrified and vulnerable." Nick told MailOnline: "I took the call, and instantly recognised the fear and pain in her voice.

She was close to tears. I broke the ice by interrupting her. 'Caroline, I must warn you, if you start to cry, I'll put the phone down.'" He noticed a momentary return of her resilience during their talk.
