Laura Whitmore, the former host of Love Island, has shared her final text messages with Caroline Flack, who tragically passed away on 15 February 2020.
To commemorate the fifth anniversary of Caroline's death, Laura decided to reveal their private conversations on her Instagram page.After Caroline stepped down as the host of Love Island in December 2019, Laura took over, and Caroline publicly expressed her support.
Their text messages show that Caroline also privately backed Laura for the role.In a message on 18 December 2019, Caroline wrote to Laura: "Hey xxx About to go see ITV.
I hope you are doing the job xx. I wouldn't want it to be anyone else x."Laura responded: "That's such a lovely message. I have met with them and had a conversation but nothing confirmed so we'll see how it goes."
