Five years on from the tragic death of Caroline Flack, friends have shared heartbreaking new details of her final hours, ahead of a documentary featuring her mum which will be released later in the year.The TV presenter took her own life at the age of 40 on February 15 2020.

Her mum Christine has put time and effort into raising awareness and preventing others from going through the same hardship she has faced over the past five years.

A new documentary on Disney Plus will show the devastated mother questioning the events of her daughter's last 24 hours, and if her death could have been prevented.Disney has confirmed that the film is in the works, although no title for the documentary has been released.The film is being created by Disney Plus and Curious Films.

The same team who were behind the 2021 documentary, Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death, will produce this new examination of the star's untimely death.The Mirror reports that the film will tell the story of Caroline's life through the eyes of her mum Christine, as she looks at her daughter's career while searching for answers surrounding her tragic passing.The programme will include testimonies from Caroline's friends and family, as her mother looks to find the truth behind the circumstances which contributed to the celebrity taking her own life.
