Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Tiger King star Carole Baskin is being lined up to appear in the next series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – according to reports.

The 59-year-old Big Cat Rescue charity worker is being offered “big money” to parachute into the I’m A Celeb jungle in Australia.

Show bosses are hoping to tempt the Netflix documentary star to be part of the line-up when the show returns to screens with its 20th season.

Carole became a household name in March after the release of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness – and I’m A Celeb bosses are said to be desperate to capitalise on the documentary’s success to include the star in the new lineup.
