Carmen Salinas has sadly died. The Mexican actress and politician passed away on Thursday (December 9) at the age of 82 due to a stroke that left her in a coma, via NBC Los Angeles. Carmen starred in over a hundred movies and TV shows, and was in the middle of filming telenovela Mi fortuna es amarte, in the role of Doña Margarita Domínguez, when she suffered the stroke.
She made her television debut in 1964 in shows like La vecindad, La frontera (The Border) and El chofer (The Chauffeur), and also starred alongside Denzel Washington in Man on Fire.
