For the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme, attendees were asked to adhere to a “Garden of Time” dress code. Many guests took the obvious floral route, but Cardi B took things a step further by transforming herself into a magnificent black rose.Whether or not the rapper was among the night's best dressed is a matter of opinion, but you cannot argue that she was definitely among the night's biggest dressed.
Cardi's black tulle gown had a mermaid shape, with a fitted top portion and a voluminous skirt almost as wide as the Met steps themselves.
