A crane is removing a car which ploughed into a Bolton house. Emergency services have been on Highfield Road, in Farnworth, since a blue Nissan Note crashed into a house near the junction of Lucas Road last night (April 10).
The property has been assessed today (Thursday), with demolition workers on site to make the area safe. Images from the scene show part of the ground floor of the house being propped up by temporary support poles.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the driver, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. Two people were checked at the scene by paramedics, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said.
