A car has been left completely mangled after a crash with a lorry on a busy Edinburgh road. The collision occurred on Calder Road in the Sighthill area of the city at around 2pm on Friday, August 19.
Images show the smaller blue motor irreparably damaged, with body panels left strewn on the floor and the back of the vehicle smashed in.
A large dent can also be seen in the side of the and a huge dent left in the larger vehicle, Edinburgh Live reports.The car has been written off after the crash at the "dangerous" Bankhead roundabout, near the Big Yellow Self Storage facility.
The area has proved to be a hotspot for similar incidents and is incredibly busy during peak times.Thankfully, despite the levels of damage to both vehicles, no one was hurt in the collision.
