While the 99-year-old war veteran has already raised more than £26.5million for NHS Charities Together by walking 100 laps of his garden, he's continuing his fundraising efforts with a track that's on course to top the UK singles chart.
He's joined forces with West End star Michael Ball and the NHS Voices of Care Choir for a cover of the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein song - You'll Never Walk Alone.
The pensioner’s recording has sold 36,000 copies in 48 hours, which means he's now battling to beat Dame Vera Lynn, 103, and Katherine Jenkins' duet of We'll Meet Again, which is also raising funds for the NHS.
