The captain of a huge P&O luxury cruise liner has revealed what life is like on board his empty 'ghost ship' since it's been anchored of the south west coast during the coronavirus pandemic.

Marcin Banach is one of the few crew members left aboard the cruise liner Azura which is currently moored off Babbacombe Bay, Torquay.

In a series of tweets, the relentlessly cheery captain has kept his followers updated with anecdotes and images of what his life has been like for the last few months.

The 14 deck boat is one of two P&O ships moored off the bay and it would usually have 3,100 passengers and 1,280 crew members on board.
