Caolan Boyd-Munce insists negotiating a new deal at St Mirren has been the last thing on his mind. The Buddies midfielder is among now 11 players out of contract in the summer — but admits he is fully focused on the club’s top-six push.

The 25-year-old has scored two goals so far this season and was back in the starting line-up for Saturday’s 3-0 Premiership romp at Aberdeen.

Sky Bet League One duo Leyton Orient and Wigan Athletic were last summer rumoured to be in the market for the Northern Irish international.

However, Boyd-Munce — who was snapped up by boss Stephen Robinson just under two years ago —later revealed that leaving the SMiSA Stadium was not on his agenda.
