The 2020 Cannes Film Festival was set to take place in May but due to the coronavirus outbreak that sadly was not meant to be.
The festival was initially postponed, but following the spread of the virus was cancelled in physical form. However, the festival will live on with the movies’ set to debut at the festival were officially unveiled this evening by Thierry Frémaux, the Festival’s General Delegate.The films include a new feature from Wes Anderson, two new works from filmmaker Steve McQueen, Soul, the new Pixar film from Pete Doctor, God’s Own Country director Francis Lee, Viggo Mortensen’s directorial debut and many more – in fact a total of fifty-six films that will now be accompanied by the Festival for their release in cinemas and
