Cancer patient attacked and told what to eat and wear by 'aggressive bully'

A cancer patient was physically assaulted and told what to wear by her "aggressive bully" of a partner after her diagnosis.It was also revealed he was in a relationship with another woman and bought her identical clothes to ones he bought for his victim.

Huw Jones, 58, of Abercynon, isolated his ex-partner from her grown up daughters and her family while in the relationship for three-and-a-half years.

He was characterised as "unpredictable" and "oppressive" during the relationship, reports Wales Online.It was heard the victim kept a diary which would detail him incessantly phoning her and his controlling behaviour, at a sentencing hearing at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday.

He would also tell her what to wear, control her food intake and would demean her in front of others.The couple attended the Carne Park Hotel on August 21 to meet with others.
