John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Camille Vasquez‘s star quality just keeps growing.Vasquez, 37, and her associate Benjamin G. Chew — who both helped lead Depp, 58, to victory on June 1 at his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard — are set to star in a new docuseries about the case.Discovery+ U.K.

has commissioned a second series about the court case, which will feature testimonies and interviews with the lawyers and representatives from both Depp and Heard’s sides.The two-part documentary is a follow-up to the first “Johnny vs.

Amber” series that debuted in December 2021.The first show looked into the “Dark Shadows” actor’s 2020 libel trial in the U.K.

High Court against the Sun.The second series will focus on Heard and Depp’s battle at the Fairfax County, Virginia, courthouse.A jury bestowed $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages to Depp.The episodes will examine much of the evidence and the testimonies of both actors presented in court.
