Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (born March 3, 1997) is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, and actress.
She rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor (U.S.) in 2012, signing a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records.
While a part of Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes, and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

The 25-year-old singer spoke to People about joining the show and revealed the pressures she faced. “I do get a little bit of imposter syndrome sometimes.
I do want to do right by the contestants and sometimes I’m like — there’s some people that are 40, they’ve been doing this for so long and I’m like, ‘I think you should do it like this,’” she says. Camila continued, “But I’m like, you know what?
No because I have been doing this for 10 years now and I had extreme situations where it hasn’t been a slow journey either. So I’ve had to gather a lot of knowledge in a short burst of time.
