Chuffed Calvin Ramsay has pledged to make his dream Liverpool transfer count as he joined the European heavyweights on a long-term deal.
Aberdeen could land £8m for their prized academy graduate and he is now set on making a telling impact on Merseyside. The 18-year-old rose to prominence in the Granite City last season and that put him on Liverpool's and Jurgen Klopp' s transfer radar.
And he also paid tribute to his former club after heading to Merseyside. Speaking to Liverpool 's official website, he said: “I’m just buzzing and it’s a dream come true really to be here, “It was a dream come true to play for Aberdeen, and now to be at one of the biggest, if not the biggest club in the world, it’s a massive achievement and I’m looking forward to trying to show the fans what I’ve got.“Hopefully I can come in in pre-season, show everyone at the club, the staff, players what I’ve got and then we’ll see what happens from there."Ramsay - also speaking to Aberdeen's official website - paid a glowing tribute to the team he's supported since childhood.
He added: "As a young boy my dream was always to play for my home team, and I managed to do that, so it was a very special moment.
