Calvin Harris releases a new single - but fans are more excited about his dog

Calvin Harris dropped the news on his Instagram that his new summer anthem By Your Side is now out, attention was diverted elsewhere.

To tell the fans the good news about his tune, he posted a picture of him and his dog Boris but it was the Golden Retriever who stole the show rather than the new hit.

The 37-year-old looked relaxed with a full beard as he put his hand around happy-looking Boris. In his post he said: "By Your Side is finally out!!!
