Calvin Harris' glow up after Vick Hope turned him down over 10 years ago
ok.co.ukCalvin Harris is reportedly engaged to TV presenter Vick Hope after a five month relationship. Speculation about the pair’s engagement began when the TV presenter, 32, sported a dazzler on her ring finger when she and DJ Calvin, 38, attended the Chelsea Flower show on 23 May .
However, Calvin previously pursued Vick back when she was 19 – but she turned him down. In 2018, the presenter spoke out about Calvin when she co-hosted Capital FM with Roman Kemp telling listeners that she was “shallow”.The brunette beauty recalled not believing Calvin would turn into an “Adonis” after his high profile modelling gigs.
On the show Roman, 29, revealed: “Calvin Harris asked Vick out on a date when he did Acceptable in the '80s.” Vick replied: “He looked how he used to look, I was shallow, I was 19, and I said no and I went off with either Scouting for Girls, or The Wombats, I don't which, I thought they were going to be bigger but no, it turns out Calvin Harris was going to turn into an Adonis.” In 2014, Calvin became the face of Emporio Armani’s men underwear for Spring/Summer 2015.
A year later he returned as the face of the brand's underwear, eyewear and watch line for their Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2015/2016 campaign.
