Callum Wilson has been told never to give up on his dream of an England recall. The Newcastle striker missed out on a place in Gareth Southgate's squad despite netting six goals in seven league games this season and Southampton striker Danny Ings' injury.
Steve Bruce reckons Wilson can become the first Toon striker since Alan Shearer in 2004 to reach 20 goals in the league, and will remain in the international reckoning.
Newcastle can go fourth win a win at Southampton, who themselves could go top on Friday night. Wilson has four England caps, the last in October last year against Bulgaria, and one goal.
