Reggie Jackson has been winning hearts since he first turned up in Call The Midwife over eight years ago.The role is beautifully played by actor Daniel Laurie, who is one of the stars confirmed to be appearing in this year's Call the Midwife Christmas special.

A two-part festive special is on BBC One and iPlayer this Christmas, with both episodes being 60 minutes long. Daniel made his debut as Reggie back in 2017, with character being introduced through a heartbreaking storyline.

His character's mum had a heart attack in a church, leaving Reggie alone at home, but luckily, his distant cousin Fred Buckle (Cliff Parisi) and his wife Violet (Annabelle Apsion) stepped in to look after Reggie as if he were their own son.
