dailystar.co.ukCall of Duty Modern Warfare players on PC appears to be receiving another massive update today, April 1 and it's not an April fool's joke.
It seems a large section of PC players on Battle.Net are being asked to pretty much re-download the game from scratch. There are numerous reports online, across Twitter, Reddit and elsewhere, of players being asked to download an update of 170GB+.
From what we can tell, the game hasn't released a new update to download for the game, but it appears to be a known bug Activision are working on.
One player on Reddit wrote: "My game wants to download an update of 171 GB this morning, even though I played yesterday without issue.
