The Sinaloans stand in a three-way tie for most No. 1s on the tally. Calibre 50 notches its 16th No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart as “Barquillero” jumps 2-1 on the July 25 survey.
The corrido, written by Calibre 50’s frontman and accordionist Eden Muñoz, is the first single off the Sinaloan group’s forthcoming album.
