CAA Signs ‘Between The Temples’ Filmmaker Nathan Silver
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Filmmaker Nathan Silver has inked with CAA, we have learned. Silver’s feature film Between the Temples, starring Jason Schwartzman and Carol Kane, made its world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, which was followed by an international premiere at the Berlin Film Festival.
The movie, which scored 91% fresh with critics on Rotten Tomatoes out of the fest, follows a cantor who is in a crisis of faith.
He finds his world turned upside down when his grade school music teacher reenters his life as his new adult bat mitzvah student.
The movie was sold by CAA Media Finance to Sony Pictures Classics for worldwide distribution. The NYU Tisch School of the Arts grad counts Blind, Exit Elena and Uncertain Times as his feature credits.
