The youngest members of a Lanarkshire Scout group enjoyed a special adventure as they enjoyed their second annual sleepover.
Squirrels, aged four and five, from the 113th Glasgow (Burnside) unit pitched tents in the group’s hall at Crawfurd Road and took part in a busy day of activities including hiking to Overtoun Park, teambuilding games and a traditional campfire with toasted marshmallows.
Burnside’s 113th was of the first groups in the UK to set up a group for the Scout Association’s new youngest section when it was introduced back in 2022, and it has proved so popular that they have now expanded to introduce a second “drey” last year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
