Burglars wrecked part of a Greater Manchester B&Q as they raided the store. Residents living near to the store on Westhulme Way, in Oldham, 'woke with a bang' in the early hours of Tuesday morning (May 29).

Emergency services descended before 1am. One resident living close to the shop told the Manchester Evening News they heard a 'bang' before 'lights and sirens' as police arrived.

Workers were seen clearing up an area of the building yesterday, with bricks piled up near to where the store was damaged. It's believed the burglars reversed a flat-bed truck into the building to break entry.
